Voices of a People's History

Hey Everybody,

The Berkeley Undergraduate Sociology Association is putting together a performance of influential political speeches that come from Voices of a People's History of the United States (Howard Zinn, anyone?) and need some people to help get things going. When I heard about this thing I immediately thought, "This has Rhetoric written all over it." You can check out the blog for the event through either my page or Aaron's.
The performace is going to be next semester, sometime in April but to make it a really great event we'll need to get working on it soon. So please, consider how helping to organize a big event like this will look when applying to grad/law schools and get back to me before next Friday.

  1. Hello rhetoricians, I am the Aaron mentioned above. To become a contributor to the blog: http://organizingvoices.blogspot.com/ please send me your e-mail at benzium2000@yahoo.com. As Elena testifies, this will be a very big, very cool event and we hope to attract some big names to read (Maxine Hong Kingston, Alice Walker, etc.).
